Drew and His Girlfriends
Thursday, August 20, 2009
9 Months Old
What is Drew up to these days?
-He is all over the place. Exploring every inch of the house and pulling up on everything.
-Drew loves to eat! This month we have started eating eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt, graham crackers, and a little bit of table food. He loves to pick up green peas one by one and pop them in his mouth.
-Da Da Da and Ma Ma Ma are his favorite things to say
-He loves to play with his girlfriends, Mary-Allison and Mia. He follows them around everywhere.
-He loves being oustside and talks and talks when we go running or walking.
A rare moment of him laying his head down!

Our First Bump

Random Friday
1) Little man is pulling up on EVERYTHING which often makes his mother a nervous wreck! The kitchen table really scares me for some reason.
2) I just started the Beth Moore Esther study and loving it so far. I was able to go see her live once when we were in Houston and it just happened to be the 1st Esther session she taped. It was fun to remember being there in person.
3) Can you give a kid too many graham crackers? He loves them. I try to hold them off until the end, but once I put the crackers down, he cleans up everything else on his tray.
4) I have a big run tomorrow morning...my first 25 minute run. I am glad I don't have to take Drew in the stroller or I am pretty sure I wouldn't make it.
5) I am craving Slim Chicken's from Fayetteville today. I didn't eat there in June...must go when we are there in September.
6) Drew started signing back "all done" in his high chair last week. Now we are working on "more" and "hungry." He also started saying "ma ma ma."
7) Nothing big planned for the weekend. We are headed to a friends house for dinner tomorrow and the usual on Sunday.
Have a good weekend!

Ice Cream and Other Things
I have started running again. I haven't ran this much since I was in high school which is over 10 years ago now!! I wish I had started blogging from the beginning, but now may be the best time to start because it is getting tougher. I am in my 6th week of the Couch to 5K podcast and did my first 20 minute run last Friday. My goal is to run the St Pete Susan G Komen 5K the first weekend in October. If you don't see pictures of it in October, you better give me some grief. I need the accountability!
