Loving our Letters!

Since Christmas, Drew has learned all his letters and his numbers to 10. He points out letters and numbers everywhere we go. He amazes us on the computer. He has played games on the computer for awhile but the past week he decided he could use the mouse by himself and didn't need momma! This Cookie Monster game is his current favorite. He cracks me up moving that little finger and double clicking.

**Disclaimer** This post is totally for the grandparents! I am SO not bragging. I often struggle with comparing Drew with other kids around his age as far as what they can say. To the point that I had to quit reading a few blogs that I loved. Crazy, but true!

Last weekend, my friend Stacey and I went to a fabric store and I picked up fabric for Brooks' bedding. Mom is going to help me make a bedskirt and pillow and add fabric to a pair of curtains I already have. I picked up a chocolate brown minky bumper to use because I wasn't up to the challenge of making the bumper! I can't wait to share it with you when we get it done!

Random Friday

1) I used to love doing Random Friday posts, but just stopped taking the time.
2) This picture is from Christmas Eve. I gave him an Oreo Ball and it resulted in a mess for me to clean up. :)
3) I am in my 20th week of pregnancy with Brooks. We have another ultrasound next Thursday. Brooks wouldn't cooperate at the ultrasound we had at 17 weeks so they are doing another one so they can get a better look at his heart. I have been feeling better lately. My energy seems to be back. My tummy is rapidly expanding! I am bigger at 20 weeks with Brooks than I was with Drew. We have started putting a few things together for his room. I keep telling Hal that May is going to come fast!
4) Hal has been home with us for a few days this week, but not quite how I would have liked for him to be home! He has had strep throat. We are praying that Drew and I don't come down with it. Wednesday was the first day of work he has missed for being sick in 11 years. This is the first time I have really ever seen him sick and boy is he sick!
5) Hal and I were just talking about how much Drew has changed in the last few weeks. He has started talking a lot more lately. He also knows all of his letters and can count to 10. We will be going through a store or driving down the road and he will yell out the numbers or letters that he sees.

A Morning at the Park

Here are a few pictures from a morning at the park last week. They are taken with my phone so they aren't they greatest. He usually loves playing on the slide and big playset, but he was more interested in exploring on this trip.

MAJOR Catch Up

Christmas and New Years has come and gone...time is SERIOUSLY flying by! Drew and I were in Arkansas the week of December 13th so that I could work. Hal joined us on the weekend and we had Parnell Christmas. Drew loves spending time with his cousins!

On Wednesday December 22nd we had an ultrasound to find out whether we were having a boy or girl. We had decided to wait and tell our parents on Christmas since they would both be at hour house. I was SO convinced it was a girl that I bought a pink bow to put on the MSU stocking cap we had bought.
Grampy was the lucky one to open the package and he unwrapped an MSU hat in underneath BLUE tissue paper. I was wrong and baby #2 is a boy. We are excited about having another boy and look forward to welcoming Brooks Parnell Ramsey in May!
As I said earlier we were so excited to have both of our parents here for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We had our traditional homemade pizza on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning we opened presents. Maw Maw and Paw Paw got him a horse that he loves! We then had a big breakfast and cooked steaks for lunch later in the day.
Sunday we went to Laurel so we could see Ed, Shannon, and the girls. Unky Ed got Drew a piano that I hear ALOT every day....thanks Ed.
He had funny dancing with Jess and hanging out with Madison.

Since then we have been trying to get settled into our routine again!

Video for Grammy

Between working at the bank, keeping up with the house, being pregnant, and keeping up with Drew, I haven't been the best about blogging as Grammy keeps reminding me! So here is a video for you Grammy...bet you love that we let your grandson fall backwards on the couch. :)
